Pro
Coming soonPro will add a cloud workspace for saving and syncing results across devices, batch processing across many files at once, and saved pipelines that replay a sequence of steps in one action.
It is not ready yet, so there is nothing to buy and no price to quote. Everything above stays free when it arrives.
Why it is free, and why there is no catch
A PDF tool that runs on servers pays a bill for every task sent to it. Your file crosses the internet, lands on a rented machine whose processing is charged by the second. Those costs rise with use, so use has to be capped — a page ceiling, an hourly one, a size limit — and the paid tier is largely the removal of that cap. The cap is the bill arriving, not meanness.
PDFCheetah is built the other way around. Merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, reordering and deleting pages happen in your browser, using processing you already paid for. Your document never leaves your device. Your hundredth job costs us what the first one did, which is nothing — so there is no cap here to remove, and no smaller one sold back to you a step at a time.
That is why there is no counter in the corner, no account to create, and no watermark on the file you get back, and no version of this page where the free side gets worse so a paid side looks better.
What this does not promise: Pro will exist, and it will cost money. It is being built around the parts that need a server, and there is no price to quote yet. What stays free is everything on this page today. The two usual ways a free tool pays for itself are both absent: the site carries no advertising, and nothing about you or your documents is sold to anyone.
