Which tool do you need?

Most people arrive knowing what is wrong with their document and not what the fix is called. Find the line that sounds like your file.

• One file out of several — Merge PDF. Put a cover letter, a scan and three receipts into one document, in an order you set with the pages on screen.
• Several files out of one — Split PDF. Pull chapter three out of a report, cut a bundle where you mark it, or turn a 60-page scan into 60 files.
• Too big to email — Compress PDF. Your file is examined first, and each option shows its cost in size and in quality before you pick one.
• The pages are in the wrong order — Organize PDF. Drag pages where they belong, duplicate one, add pages from a second file, and undo before you download.
• The scan came out sideways — Rotate PDF. Turn selected pages or the whole document left, right or all the way round, and save the fix into the file.
• Pages you do not want to send — Delete PDF pages. Mark the blank sheets and the duplicate, then download a PDF without them. Your original file is not changed.

Organize PDF also rotates and removes pages, so reach for it when a document needs more than one fix at once.

What every tool here has in common

• Your document is not uploaded. Every tool reads and rewrites your PDF inside your own browser, so the file never leaves your device. A test fails if a document's bytes or its filename reach the network: strong evidence rather than proof.
• No account, and nothing to sign up for. No email address, no password, nothing to delete later. What does leave is the page's own files and a short record of which tool ran, listed field by field on the privacy page.
• No daily limit and no hourly limit. Run a tool once or forty times in an afternoon; nothing is counted, because there is no account to count against. The one ceiling is your device, and a file too large for it is refused when you choose it.
• No watermark on anything. Nothing that comes out of a tool is stamped or degraded to sell you the clean version. There is nothing to buy here today.
• They keep working with no connection. After your first page view your browser keeps its own copy of the site, roughly 1.5 MB, and the tools run with the connection off. That was measured on Rotate in Chrome; Safari and iOS are untested.
• Six tools work, and the rest are not built yet. Converting to and from Word or JPG, editing, signing, passwords, unlocking, page numbers and watermarks are missing because they do not exist yet, not because a paid plan is holding them back.
