How to reverse the pages in a PDF
- Open the PDF whose pages are the wrong way round.
- Select Reverse all pages. The preview flips, last page first.
- Select Create reversed PDF, then Download.
Reverse a PDF without redrawing a single page
PDFCheetah changes the order the pages are written in and nothing else. No page is redrawn, so text stays selectable and vector artwork stays sharp — the reversed file is the same pages in the opposite sequence, not a picture of them. Why a PDF comes out back to front
The usual cause is a scanner or a phone that fed a stack face down, or a document assembled from the last page forward. Reversing the whole document puts it right in one step. To move a few pages rather than all of them, use Organize PDF, which also carries a one-click reverse for the document you already have open there.
Current limitations
The whole document is reversed; reversing a range of pages, or reversing odd and even pages separately, is not included. Bookmarks, fillable forms and links between pages are kept, but bookmarks stay in their original order. Always verify signed, certified, tagged, form-heavy, or archival PDFs in the reader used by the recipient.

- Is my PDF uploaded to reverse it?
- No. The file is read and rewritten in your browser, and the reversed PDF is saved on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Does reversing the pages change how they look?
- No. Only the order the pages are written in changes. No page is redrawn, so text stays selectable and searchable and vector artwork stays sharp.
- Can I reverse only some of the pages?
- Not yet. This tool reverses the whole document. To move a few pages, open Organize PDF, which also has a one-click reverse for the document you already have open there.
- What happens to bookmarks and links?
- They are kept. A link from one page to another still lands on the page it pointed at, wherever that page now sits, and each bookmark still opens its page. The bookmarks list itself keeps its original order, so a contents list will read back to front against the pages. Fillable forms are kept too.
- Why did my scan come out back to front?
- Usually because the pages were fed face down, or the document was put together from the last page forwards. Reversing the whole document puts it right in one step.
