Fill PDF form fields in any language, then save or flatten

Why there is no daily limit, and no upload
How to fill in a PDF form
- Open the PDF form.
- Type into its fields on the page, or choose As a list to fill them one under another — the easier way on a phone.
- Select Save filled PDF to keep the form editable, or Save flattened to make the answers part of the pages.
What it fills
The form’s own fields: text boxes, boxes with one character per square, tick boxes, choose-one buttons, dropdowns and lists. What you type is drawn in fonts that cover your language — Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and the rest — so it shows in every viewer, not only in this one. It all happens in this browser tab: nothing is uploaded.
Current limitations
A form made with Adobe LiveCycle Designer that keeps its fields only in XFA cannot be filled here. Signature fields are left for Sign PDF. The form’s scripts are never run, so totals, date formats and checks the form would do itself are not done, and the scripts are removed when you save. A PDF with no fields cannot be typed on here: use Edit PDF. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened here yet: use Unlock PDF first if you know the password.
Common questions
- Is my form uploaded to fill it in?
- No. The form is filled in your browser and the new PDF is written on this device. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
- Can I still change my answers after saving?
- Yes, if you choose Save filled PDF: the fields stay editable in any PDF reader. Save flattened makes the answers part of the pages, so they can no longer be changed.
- Why can I not type on my PDF?
- Because it has no form fields: it may be a scan or a form printed to PDF. Use Edit PDF to add text on top of it. A form built with Adobe LiveCycle Designer that keeps its fields only in XFA cannot be filled here either.
- Does the form calculate totals for me?
- No. The form's own scripts are never run, so totals, date formats and checks it would do itself are not done, and the scripts are removed when you save.
