PDF to A4, every page resized without cutting anything off

Why there is no daily limit, and no upload
How to resize a PDF to A4
- Open the PDF — a Letter document, a scan at an odd size, a mix of page sizes.
- Choose A4 or US Letter, the orientation and a margin if your printer needs one.
- Select Resize pages, then Download.
Change the page size, keep everything on the page
Each page is scaled up or down until it fits the paper, then centered, so its shape is kept and nothing is cropped: a page of a different shape gets a white edge on two sides rather than losing its own. Text stays text and pictures keep their resolution. Nothing is uploaded: it happens in this browser tab.
Current limitations
Comments, stamps, signatures and filled-in form fields are drawn onto the resized pages as they look, but can no longer be edited. Links stop working, a comment saved without a drawn appearance is left off, and bookmarks no longer point anywhere; the result counts the links and comments left behind. To trim margins instead of scaling, use Crop PDF. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened here yet: use Unlock PDF first if you know the password.
Common questions
- Is my PDF uploaded to resize it to A4?
- No. The pages are resized in your browser and the new PDF is written on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Is anything cut off when a page is resized?
- No. Each page is scaled until it fits the paper and then centered, so a page of a different shape, such as US Letter, gets a thin white edge on two sides rather than losing any of its own.
- Can I resize a PDF to US Letter instead?
- Yes. Choose US Letter instead of A4, and each page is scaled onto an 8.5 by 11 inch sheet the same way.
- Does this make the file smaller?
- No. It changes the size of the pages, not the size of the file. To make the file smaller for an upload, use Compress PDF or Resize PDF.
