PDF to ZIP: your PDF files in one file, to send them together
PDFCheetah's free PDF to ZIP tool packs PDF files, exactly as they are, into one ZIP in your browser — so many documents travel as one attachment — and your files never leave your device.

Why there is no daily limit, and no upload
How to put PDFs in a ZIP
- Choose the PDF files — one or many.
- Put them in order with the arrows, or remove any you do not want.
- Select Create ZIP, then Download one file to send or upload.
Why a ZIP, and why it is not much smaller
A ZIP keeps many files together as one, which is what an email attachment, a form or a shared folder often wants. It saves little space on PDFs: their text, fonts and pictures are compressed already, so the result says exactly how much smaller or larger the ZIP came out. For a smaller PDF, use Compress PDF. The files are packed in this browser tab; nothing is uploaded.
Current limitations
The ZIP is built in this tab’s memory, so it takes up to 200 files and 512 MB at once on a computer, 100 MB on a phone. It is not password-protected: to lock a PDF, use Password Protect PDF on it first.
Common questions
- Are my PDFs uploaded to make the ZIP?
- No. The files are packed in your browser and the ZIP is written on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Will the ZIP make my PDFs smaller?
- Only a little, and sometimes not at all. A PDF's text, fonts and pictures are compressed already, so the result tells you exactly how much smaller or larger the ZIP came out. To make the files themselves smaller, use Compress PDF first.
- Are the PDFs changed in any way?
- No. Each PDF goes into the ZIP exactly as it is, under its own name, in the order of the list. Two files with the same name are kept apart, as report.pdf and report (2).pdf.
- Can I put a password on the ZIP?
- No. The ZIP is not encrypted. To lock a document, use Password Protect PDF on each PDF before you zip them.
