Multiple pages per sheet, to print a PDF on less paper

How to put multiple pages on one sheet
- Open the PDF.
- Choose how many pages go on each sheet — 2, 4, 6, 8 or 9 — the sheet size, the order and the margins. The small sheet beside the settings shows where each page lands.
- Select Create PDF with pages per sheet, then Download and print it as it is.
The pages stay sharp
Each page is placed on its sheet as it is, not as a picture of it: text stays text you can select and search, and photos keep their resolution. Every page is scaled to fit its place and centered, with its shape kept, so nothing is cropped or stretched. It all happens in this browser tab: nothing is uploaded.
Current limitations
Comments, stamps, signatures and filled-in form fields are drawn onto the sheets as they look, but can no longer be edited. Links stop working, a comment saved without a drawn appearance is left off, and bookmarks no longer point anywhere; the result counts the links and comments left behind. A last sheet with fewer pages keeps their size and leaves the rest of the sheet empty. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened here yet: use Unlock PDF first if you know the password.
Common questions
- Is my PDF uploaded to put several pages on a sheet?
- No. The sheets are laid out in your browser and the new PDF is written on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- How many pages can go on one sheet?
- Two, four, six, eight or nine. Two sit side by side, four two by two, six three by two, eight four by two and nine three by three, and the pages can run across the sheet, down it, or from right to left.
- Will the text still be sharp when printed?
- Yes. Each page is placed on its sheet as it is, not as a picture of it, so the text stays text you can select and search, and photos keep their resolution. It is only printed smaller.
- What is not kept on the new sheets?
- Links stop working and bookmarks no longer lead anywhere. Comments, stamps, signatures and filled-in form fields are drawn onto the sheets as they look, but can no longer be edited; one saved without a drawn appearance of its own is left off. The result says how many when your PDF had links or such comments.
