Why there is no daily limit, and no upload
How to turn WebP pictures into a PDF
- Choose the WebP pictures, one or many. Each one becomes a page.
- Drag the pictures into the order you want, or move them with the arrows. Turn one with Rotate left 90° or Rotate right 90°.
- Choose the page: the picture’s own shape, or A4 or US Letter with a margin, fitted inside the page or filling it.
- Select Create PDF, then Download to save it.
Where WebP pictures come from
Most pictures saved from a website arrive as WebP, the format sites use to load quickly, and plenty of programs and upload forms still refuse it. Each picture is opened by your browser on this device and stored in the PDF without loss, exactly as it looks on screen, and a see-through area shows the white of the page. The PDF opens anywhere a WebP does not.
Current limitations
An animated WebP gives its first frame, because a PDF page holds a still picture. A picture stored without loss is often larger than the WebP it came from, so the PDF can be bigger than the pictures were; Compress PDF can bring it down. No text is read out of the pictures. Larger batches than this device can place safely are refused when you choose them.
Common questions
- Is my WebP picture uploaded to make the PDF?
- No. Your browser opens each picture and the PDF is written on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Why is the PDF bigger than my WebP pictures?
- WebP files are usually compressed with loss, and each picture is stored in the PDF without loss, exactly as it looks on screen, which takes more room. Compress PDF can make the PDF smaller.
- What happens to an animated WebP?
- Its first frame becomes the page. A PDF page holds a still picture, so the rest of the animation is left out.
- Is transparency kept?
- Yes. A see-through area of a WebP stays see-through in the PDF, so it shows the white of the page.
